I received my BA in 1992 and my Masters in Communication and Sciences Disorders in 1997 from Marshall University. I truly believe what Frederick Douglass said, "Once you learn to read you will be forever free."

I earned my National Board Certification in 2004 as an Early Childhood Generalist. I spent most of my career in public schools, and have personally driven myself to become knowledgeable about all things REA

I earned my National Board Certification in 2004 as an Early Childhood Generalist. I spent most of my career in public schools, and have personally driven myself to become knowledgeable about all things READING. I consider literacy to be one of the greatest gifts we can give our children.
